YEAH! Spring has finally arrived!!! Happy Chinese New Year to everyone! I know you all are having fun collect Ang Baos and secretly gambling right??!! Don't gamble all your money away!!!
I used to dread CNY, because there's the crowd, the relatives (known and unknown) and many many more! I just realised it could be all the puberty hormones making us feel awkward when there's adults, crowds and many people bombarding you with funny questions.
Then I am sure that I have fully completed my puberty and am grown up. I am 20 (soon) officially the age that starts with '2'. (disgustingly, it's gonna start with '3' pretty soon and then people start calling me auntie and...)
Back to CNY. I'm starting to like the feeling of family get together! ( I know this is the nature for Cancerians, but it sort of just came out only now) And that finally after 1 long year, the whole big family finally see each other. All the kids have grown up and becoming handsome guys and pretty girls. Cousins that are old enough have gotten married/ going to get married, and having their really adorable babies. Something I didn't like was that our elder generation is getting older. =(
The Ang Bao was the objective, and probably still the objective. But not so much of the objective, more like a bonus. It is when you least expect it that you'll get more! =)
If families only get together during CNY, I wished very month (or every alternate month) would be a CNY celebration. I promise I won't take it for granted! Without Ang Bao also can.
Seeing the years passed year by year, I realised I really have not much time to waste, parents and grandma getting old, I think they haven't been really enjoying life. And I haven't been a good daughter/grand-daughter. I haven't been a filial daughter because I'm always full of my own thinking [and thinking that they are right, (although they are.)], but perhaps I should sometimes listen to them, because they are not always wrong, they are the people who will never harm me.
I must earn lots of money and allow them to have good life for retirement.

Also, Mao Mao! And Lao Ham! I have never forgotten about you all! Mao Mao especially! I love you Mao Mao! Happy New Year! I'm sure you'll get lots of canned food at Rainbow Bridge don't you? =)
You must be happy Mao Mao! I know you are always there! =) Looking at me, so that I won't do bad and only do good. =) I know, I've been good to Lao Da and all other cats too! I must work hard and earn lots of money for Mao Mao too. If I ever strike rich, I must build a "Mao Mao shelter" or "Mao Mao's home for Cats". For all needy cats.
I love you Mao Mao, Happy CNY. Meow~ I miss you dearly! =)
